I am well on record across the blogosphere from Puligal to DefenceWire as being both anti-LTTE as well as being strongly against a separatist movement or solution.

What is the Value of military men hanging out at a blog about defence that claims to be the continuation of another blog called "DefenceWire"?

Imagine you went to visit a blog about rocket science. You go there to learn a few things in hopes that the information is good... perhaps information from... I don't know... say.... ROCKET SCIENTISTS????

Maybe just information that ROCKET SCIENTISTS have viewed and agreed with?

You see... A rocket science blog without a rocket scientist or two is likely filled with bad information... intentional or not. Having a Rocket Scientist or two around brings some credibility to the blog and the information within.


So having some military folks around a defence blog...

Meanwhile, the PE campaign is both nasty and violent and about to come to an end. I predict MR will win with somewhere near 56% of the vote as counted. I hugely doubt there isn't significant vote-rigging on both sides with the GoSL holding most of the advantage.

What should be interesting is what happens to whichever candidate is defeated, given they have both called each other out as corrupt with claims of traitor and war-criminal popping up constantly.

One would hope that whoever wins will calm down the rhetoric and seek conciliation with the vanquished but that is not likely.
